If you’ve ever come up against limitations with your no-code and low-code apps this is for you, APIs can add all sorts of functionality to your apps and have exploded in popularity within the last few years. API stands for Application Programming Interface, which is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other. Each time you use an app like Facebook, send an instant message, or check the weather on your phone, you’re using an API.

With APIs you don’t have to expend precious resources on reinventing the wheel but instead to rely on APIs from the larger platforms, such as Salesforce Amazon, and , more recently specialized developers.

With APIs you can rent functionality to include in your applications so whether you want to send text message notifications through your app, find places on google, or incorporate video chat. There’s probably an API for you.

Here are 10 APIs that add interesting and unique functionality to your no-code apps!
